What is Nerd Alert Records?

We are a D.I.Y., vinyl-only record store that is completely ran by the owners, Bonnie Molleston and Tony Peters (who are also husband and wife). As record collectors ourselves, we strive to put as much information as possible about the records we sell our listings so that all of our customers know exactly what they are buying. And if you happen to be a collector, you know how frustrating it can be to play the roulette wheel with stores that do not bother to list variant/color/pressing information.

Do you have any experience selling...well, anything?

Why yes we do! We both have been selling on eBay for quite awhile and our main account -nerdalertrecordsandgames - just passed the 2,000 positive feedback mark. To continue with that, Tony has built up a stellar trading reputation over the years at such sites as CheapAssGamer.com, VinylCollective.com and GameTZ.com - all under the ID, wannabepunktony. We felt it was time to take our hobby and take it to the next level.

What bands do you two listen to and collect?

We could be listing for years, so here's what comes from the top of our heads:

Tony: Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake, The Aquabats, A Wilhelm Scream, Sage Francis, Atmosphere, NOFX, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, No Use For A Name, Hot Water Music, etc. and so forth.
