Payment:

We currently accept credit cards and debit cards through Google Checkout - our preferred payment handler - as well as Paypal. Both of these companies are well known and trustworthy, and gladly handle all of your payment info and sensitive information while providing us with nothing more than your contact, shipping and order info. We do not, and will not, have any access to your credit card number.

We also accept personal checks and money orders through the mail. If you would like to use either of these methods for payment, please checkout as if you were paying with an online payment type and select the Check/Money Order option when it comes type to select a payment type. You will be prompted with a page you can fill out and the necessary information for properly preparing and sending your payment. By finishing this checkout process, we will receive your order and place the items on hold for 10 business days. If your payment is not received within that amount of time, your items will be taken off hold. If we do not hear from you in regards to your order before that 10 business day marker, your order will be canceled and any payment received forwarded back to the sender.

The following payment types are not accepted and no exceptions will be granted: cash, checks/money orders in non-U.S. dollars, wire transfers or any other payment type we feel uncomfortable receiving.

When an order is received, we will personally double check our inventory to make sure that the item are in-stock and then charge your card. As we currently do not allow for back-ordering, item not in-stock will be canceled. Any orders with preorder items will not ship until the all items are in-stock, so please be sure to place two orders if you want the in-stock items right away.

Shipping:

Processing Time - Most orders will ship with 2-3 business days after being received, some slipping until 5 business days and rarely slipping to 10 business days (please check our blog for up-to-date status).

We exclusively use USPS to ship all of our orders. For our U.S. customers, we offer $3.50 flat-rate USPS Media Mail (5-21 days) shipping regardless of weight, as well as metered Media Mail, 1st Class (for parcels 13 ounces and under), Parcel Post, Priority Mail and Express Mail options (price determined by total weight of the order). International customers have essentially the same shipping options as our U.S. customers minus the flat-rate shipping. All items shipped within the U.S. will be shipped with Delivery Confirmation, which will be promptly emailed to you by either Google Checkout/Paypal or us. Tracking is not provided for International parcels.

Regardless of where we shipped your order to, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring we have the correct mailing address. Any issues that arise due to misinformation can result in order delays and additional charges. If at any time you would like to change your shipping address, please send us an email at nerdalertrecords@gmail.com with the subject "Address Change" along with a body that contains your full name, order number and the new shipping address. We are not responsible for lost, confiscated or in any other way detained items. We are not responsible for International orders that received damage while in-transit.

Taxes/Duties/Fees/Etc.:

We list all international orders with the correct USD value and as commercial/retail items. This may lead to additional payments levied against international buyers to receive their items, which all international buyers are completely responsible for as Nerd Alert Records will provide zero financial assistance. Any requests for fraudulent information to be written on a customs form will be wholly ignored.

Return Policies:

U.S. Exchanges:

If any of your items are received damaged (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE PERSONAL DAMAGE OR NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR), they can be exchanged for the same item, or if that item is out of stock, replaced with store credit if a return request is made within 20 business days of receiving the order. Please send us an email to nerdalertrecords@gmail.com with the subject "Exchange Request" along with a body that contains your full name, order number and the item(s) you would like to exchange and we will get back to you as soon as possible with our return address as well as an exchange number.* All exchanges will receive free Media Mail shipping when we ship the new items out as well as a coupon for free Media Mail shipping for their next order. If an exchange results in a store credit, the original shipping cost will not be refunded; instead, a credit for postage used to send the item back to us as well as a coupon for free USPS Media Mail shipping for their next order will be issued. Please reuse the original shipping material and ship using USPS Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation - we will not reimburse any other amount.

U.S. Returns:

If within 5 BUSINESS DAYS you receive an item you no longer want, are unhappy with or any other non-damage-related issue, you may return any portion of your order IN THE ORIGINAL CONDITION SENT (THIS MEANS SEALED ITEMS MUST STILL BE SEALED, UNSEALED ITEMS UNUSED) for a full refund minus our initial cost of shipping within 5 business days. Please send us an email to nerdalertrecords@gmail.com with the subject "Return Request" along with a body that contains your full name, order number and the item(s) you would like to return and we will get back to you as soon as possible with our return address as well as a return number.* A refund will not be granted for return postage. Please reuse the original shipping material and ship using USPS Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

International Exchanges & Returns:

Due to the ever-increasing costs to ship outside of the U.S. as well as the unpredictable transit times, we will be operating under a strict No International Exchanges basis. Returns will be accepted within 30 days of the order shipment date if returned IN THE ORIGINAL CONDITION SENT (THIS MEANS SEALED ITEMS MUST STILL BE SEALED, UNSEALED ITEMS UNUSED), but postage spent by us or the customer will not be funded - this includes postage used to return the item to us. Please send us an email to nerdalertrecords@gmail.com with the subject "Return Request" along with a body that contains your full name, order number and the item(s) you would like to return and we will get back to you as soon as possible with our return address as well as a return number.*

Regardless of where you are located, we reserve the right to deny or alter any exchange/return claim as we see fit. Any orders that are returned to us without sending the proper notice and receiving an exchange/return number will result in processing delays or claim denial.

Cancellations/Combined Shipping On Multiple Orders:

If you would like to cancel any portion of your order or have shipped combined on multiple unshipped orders, please send us an email at nerdalertrecords@gmail.com with the subject "Cancellation" or "Combined Shipping" along with a body that contains your full name and order number. If you would only like to cancel an item instead of a whole order, please list the item(s) you would like canceled. We are not responsible for any orders shipped without alteration.
